There is an increasing demand for highly skilled professionals in the manufacturing sector who can design, program and operate technology. Manufacturing Day is designed to introduce young people and others in the community to the manufacturing sector and career opportunities, and demonstrate the contributions manufacturing makes to the local economy. We will be offering live demonstrations of equipment including a 3-D printer, virtual welder, robotic arm, and waterjet. In addition to touring our shops, MFG Day participants will also be able to meet with local manufacturing companies to discuss career opportunities and products they design and manufacture. We will also be giving away thousands of dollars’ worth in prizes to registered guests, so please be sure to register online at:
If you are bringing a group of more than 10 people, please also register on the MFG Day website. This will allow us to better accommodate you and your group. You can find that registration link at:
We will not be doing paper registrations this year, so it is very important for you to register through these registration links in order to attend. If you need any assistance with the registration process, please contact Alan Hart at alan.hart@dos5.net.
